Taste of China - Council Bluffs: Authentic Chinese Delights Await!

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s usually our family’s special treat since it costs a bit much to meet everyone’s wants for dinner. (We get multiple items.) our go to sweet and sour chicken, veggie fried rice, beef lo mein, crab Rangoon. This time and only this time have we ever had an issue. I’m not one to have confrontation so I’m not going to make a call and complain. I’m just going to leave a review and hopefully they reach out via email/text/comments. But I found two thin 4 inch white/blonde strands of hair. One was just on the chicken the other was actually in the breading of my chicken. Then one of my Rangoon’s had a moldy taste I couldn’t see any visible mold but I couldn’t eat half of my meal. After spend $40 I’m a little disappointed. Maybe it’s an off day or maybe they need a reminder to enforce proper kitchen hygiene and keep up on proper food rotation.

The cashier is ALWAYS more interested in whatever video is playing on his phone than his customers, and no one in back seems to speak any English, or at least they don't act like they are more interested than he is in the customers. Crummy customer service, fake, plastic, DATED decorations. The only saving grace is the food.

Overall 3 stars, you get a lot of food for. Never a terrible option but always a decent option to get that mid grade Chinese food you’re itching for. The crab rangoons are the best thing they have always made fresh to order.

Best hot and sour soup in town , but it packs a punch. Pack in for the spice They have delicious food, and kind staff Overall I never leave unhappy and go here off and on for my Chinese food fix. I've been going regularly here for about 6months and it's never a disappointment They have very reasonable prices and one meal can easily be shared from my experience, with the very generous servings Happy year of the dragon

Staff is always polite & very helpful. Always get my order right & very quick at cooking it & getting it to me. Absolutely love their food! Would definitely recommend it.
